Back in July of 2010 I started a weekly jazz gig at the bar of the Crown Moran hotel in Cricklewood, North West London. This has been going from strength to strength and is now a popular Monday night hang for many local musicians and music lovers. As well as myself on saxes, the flexible group features Tom Fry, Yaron Stavi, Sandy Suchodolski, Lance Rose and Pete Morgan on bass, Danny Keane, Alekis Corker, Alex Hutton and John Ashton Thomas on keys and Mike Searl , Sophie Alloway, Oded Kafri, Stuart Ritchie, Ed Richardson and Neil Huxtable on drums. Stellar guests have included Gilad Atzmon on alto and guitar, Holly and Ray Penfield, Tali Atzmon and Tina T on vocals, Les Davidson, Dave Freidman and Carl Orr on guitar and many other great players who just happened to pop in. I have also been pioneering ( with mixed success ) webcasting the show. This is a live broadcast via the internet. I have been using uStream for this purpose.
